The support period during which we will provide fixes for product vulnerabilities is at least five years from the last month of production of the applicable product, plus at least two years from the last production.
(The year/month of manufacture is indicated by the serial number on the Product's rating label.)
We will conduct a periodic review once a year and announce that models still in production after 5 years are within the support period. Also, models that are more than two years after last production will be announced as no longer supported.
Information on whether or not each model is within the support period can be found at the bottom of this page.
The support period for software associated with the Product is the same as for the Product.
For vulnerabilities found during the support period, we will analyze and determine root causes, and formulate and verify countermeasures.
At the bottom of this page, we will disclose the status of the vulnerability at each stage, and finally, we will disclose information about the vulnerability, including a timeline for resolving the issue.
To resolve the vulnerability with a software (firmware) update, the files necessary for the update, including software, tools, and instructions, will be made available for download at the bottom of this page as soon as the software (firmware) for the update is available.
